We’ll be back on Saturday 18 May 2019!

There was an electric atmosphere from start to finish, and the Colwick Hall marquee looked magnificent (thanks to the Cherub’s Ball team).

Thanks to generous donors and enthusiastic bidders, the event raised £16,000 (net), enough to fund Footprints CEC for one month. We are so very grateful to everyone for supporting our charity.

Deserving of a special mention – Richmond-Baxter for reception drinks sponsorship, David and Sue Dickens for sponsoring the Canapes, Amo Lausi, Len Simmonds, Wendy Walker Ovy Designs for the programme artwork, Catherine Tew of Midland Regional Printers, and FREETHS for supplying the chocolates! Thanks also to the Ball Committee – Karen Richards, Heather Anthony, Jackie Clark and Becky Sheeran. Room decor – Flowers on Main Street and Vanity Lash (balloon arches). Our ‘entertainers’ Des Coleman, James Lewis auctioneer, James Brown Entertainment, Basement (the band), Stage Connections, Kav and Dean from Dabbler Media for filming, Blue Monday, and all volunteers on the night too! Our tombola table gifts were a mixture of donations including Boots and Two’s Company – thank you.

We can’t run an auction without some fabulous items – thank you for the ongoing support Annie and Russell Meakin, Tanners Chartered Surveyors  and Mark James – Hooters. Plus  Lexus Nottingham, Samclo Construction, Emmerdale Village Tour and Floralands Garden Village. Misia at Soothe Therapies, Tracy at The Tier Hairdressing, Beverley Perkins Photography, Beauty Temple, Complexions Daybrook and Beauty Essence.  Private donation of a gorgeous cottage in Wales, Sytner BMW Nottingham. The DHP Family, Ryley Wealth Management, NCT, Ruddington Grange, Nottingham Ice Arena and Alistair and Sarah White. Thanks, Coco Cheesecakes, Tattoo Emporium, Nottingham Football Centre, Umbro and Motorpoint, John Anthony Chiropractic, Wolds Childcare, AandG ChemDry, and James Gilham. Not least, huge thanks to Birgit, ‘Chef’ Lee and colleagues at Colwick Hall for being so helpful and for delivering such delicious food!

Thank you to everyone involved in supporting our 8th Cherub’s Ball, you are helping to make a difference to local disabled children and their parents.

Remember to save the date – Saturday 18 May 2019! Tell your friends.

Brilliant night once again.

Des was on top form. We are definitely coming next year!

Last ever SfP – next year Footprints official annual ball! Can’t wait.
