We have made changes to the hours required for this previously advertised permanent position. Working hours are now Tuesday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Are you a natural facilitator? Empathetic, resourceful, observant, a clear thinker?

Can you gauge when a supportive hand is needed?

Footprints Conductive Education Centre need a cheerful, hard-working Classroom Assistant to support our Conductors/Conductor Assistants from Tuesday to Friday within all areas relating to the planning, delivery, management and evaluation of educational programmes provided from our centre in Sneinton.

Our children and parents/guardians/carers work together in groups of two to six children (from babies to pre-schoolers) during their sessions. These group sessions are led by a Conductor and supported by Conductor Assistants. The Classroom Assistant’s role is to think ahead and respond to the needs of staff and families in the room – it can be fun, busy, noisy, but always focused and always incredibly rewarding.

This role involves working within the following groups:

  • Tuesday Pre-School Service
  • Wednesday Pre-School Service
  • Thursday Pre-School Service
  • Friday Pre-School Service

If this is you, and you would like to join our small team, please email nathalie.bailey-flitter@footprintscec.org with your CV and a covering letter telling us what makes you ideal for this role. Please note: applications that do not include a current CV and a covering letter will not be considered.

The deadline for applications is Friday 3 December 2021 at 5 PM.
