Our mission statement
Our mission is to provide Conductive Education and other services to help children with mobility and communication problems develop the skills they need to thrive and achieve their potential. We’re committed to creating a safe, positive, supportive and fun environment where parents receive practical assistance, information and training to help them support their child in their own home.
We are a long standing local charity, formerly known as School for Parents.
We’re a Nottingham-based charity that supports babies and pre-school children with conditions such as cerebral palsy that cause motor disorders or motor development delay. We also run projects to help children with Down’s syndrome improve their skills in all areas of early development, including motor skills and communication.
We work closely with both the children and their parents to encourage and motivate each child’s desire to achieve tasks. At the same time, we give parents the knowledge, confidence, and strength they need to cope with their child’s disability and understand how they can help.
All our activities have a common goal – to help every child reach their full potential within a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Read more.
