We had an amazing day at the Robin Hood Marathon 2025! With an incredible team taking part in the Half and Mini Marathon, along with volunteers, including official marshals and at our cheer station, this is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year. An amazing day at The Richard Whitehead Foundation's annual event, Run with Rich, on 27 September 2025. A fully inclusive event which brought together so many people and organisations, including some of our families and our Young Ambassador Scarlett.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our London Landmarks Half Marathon team, which took place on 6 April in glorious sunshine.
Thank you to Chris, Dave, James, Joe, Lee, Meg, Mike and Tom for taking part and to everyone who has supported and donated to their JustGiving pages, and to our Chair of Trustees Rob Evans for cheering everyone on.

On 27 March we held our annual Footprints Celebration Dinner event at Alea in Nottingham, an opportunity for our Support Partners, Charity Partners, Volunteers, Trustees and Ambassadors to all connect and celebrate the successes of Footprints over the last year, and the difference we have made together. All of our families came together on 14 December for our very special Footprints Christmas Party. Our children and families celebrated with a special visit to see Santa, entertainment with Beatfeet Drumming and Twinkle Bunny, presents and a Makaton Christmas singalong. 

On 7 December 2024, our families past and present, had a wonderful time at Nottingham's Winter Wonderland, with an exclusive and inclusive ice skating session. Thank you to AC Wollaton, Mellors Group and Winter Wonderland 2024 for arranging this for us, and you can see all the photos here.

During December 2024, we were proud to be supported at An Evening with Des Walker event, held at The Southbank Bar, in Nottingham City Centre. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us, raising over £2000 for our charity, and to our Champion Ambassador Lisa Fox for organising this and for all of her amazing support.

At the start of November, we were proud to be supported at The William Gunn’s Fothers and Friends event, with 2 time European Cup Winning Nottingham Forest Football Club legend, Ian Bowyer. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us, raising £306 for our charity...and to our Champion Ambassador Lisa Fox for organising this and for all of her amazing support.

In November 2024 we held a sparkly fundraising event for our charity, The Rutland NightWalk. The 10km route around Rutland Water, was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and our team included some of our families, as well as our Charity Manager and one of our Trustees. The amazing team of walkers raised over £500 in total and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in an accessible and inclusive for all event.

Huge congratulations to our amazing London to Brighton charity bike ride Team, who completed their epic 55 mile challenge on 15 September. The team was made up of colleagues from CSL Group, Skills for Security, John Pye Auctions, Wall 2 Wall Security, BSIA, and Joe Duffy Training and Coaching, and overall, they raised an incredible £10,000 for our charity.
