Lee completes his 200 Miles for Alfie Challenge

200 Miles for Alfie...

During the last week of May, one of Footprints new supporters, Lee Freeman, took on an amazing challenge for Alfie, and raised money for Footprints.

From 29 May - 1 June Lee ran an unbelievable 200 miles for Alfie, at Rother Valley Country Park in Yorkshire.

Lee is friends with our parent Chris Mitchell and his family, and has been inspired by Alfie and them all.

Lee told us "I instantly wanted to do something to support Chris and his family and alongside Alfie, and show the world just how strong we can be and how much fight we have inside of us, when fighting and being strong is our only option.

All my strength and resilience will be drawn from Alfie, he will be in my thoughts the whole time."

So far Lee has incredibly raised over £5,000, and the money Lee raises will make a huge difference to our charity, and the children and families we support who live with disabilities.

Thank you Lee for supporting our charity, and to everyone who donates.
