Welcome To Our New Trustee Michael

Michael is Head of Global Business Solutions at Currys plc and has a huge amount of commercial and strategic change experience. Michael's son attends our Speech and Communication sessions and he's passionate about bringing both his professional and lived experience and expertise to Footprints, and we're delighted that he's joining our wider charity team.

This announcement comes during a momentous 2026 for Footprints, following a truly transformative period for our charity, and follows our announcement in the last months of Stephen Daw and Sarah Sandy also joining as new Trustees.

We’re delighted to welcome Michael to our Board of Trustees as we move into this next chapter, bringing exciting opportunities for the services and support we provide for children and families living with disabilities across the East Midlands, as well as the organisations we’re connected to now and in the future.

Our Chair of Trustees, Rob Evans said “I've really enjoyed getting to know Michael over the last few months and am delighted that he is joining our wider charity team, strengthening and building our Board of Trustees. Michael brings his extensive commercial and corporate experience to Footprints, and also lived experience of having a young child who lives with a disability.

Both Stephen, Sarah and Michael joining our team as new trustees are a brilliant opportunity to increase the expertise of our wider charity team, to connect with more people and organisations across the East Midlands, enabling us to create more partnerships and reach more families.”
